This project was a collaboration with GINA Gallery in Tel Aviv.

GINA is a gallery for international naïve art, that buys and sells naïve art from all over the world.

For that, I created a vase on the wheels. On the vase I painted a painting inspired by “Tamahu Flower Vendor” by Lorenzo Cruz, an artist from Guatemala. In his paintings, Cruz uses a technique of drizzling paint over the canvas.

Inspired by that, I created thick engobes over the vase. The shapes painted on the vase were taken by the painting as well, although in a more abstract way.
